Ukraine Azov will be charged as Nazi Criminals by Russia Court

In February, Vladimir Putin said he was going to denazify Ukraine, he was referencing the Azov Battalion who are heavily linked to Neo-Nazism and hate crimes. At the start of the Russian Ukrainian war, many in the West were unfamiliar with the Ukrainian Azov battalion and what they stood for, they are an openly admitted far-right militia with strong ties to white power groups all over Europe. The United States has previously identified the group as a hate group terrorist organization, but that fact became hidden from the American people when the Russian Ukraine conflict started on February 24th.  After a 2-month standoff in a steel mill, over 2,500 members of the controversial Azov battalion surrendered the city of Mariupol to Russia yesterday, it became clear that Vladimir Putin had won, he did what he said he was going to do, and now it appears the far-right militia group will be tried as Nazi criminals in a Russian war court.

The Azov battalion came to prominence in 2014, when they boldly fought against Pro- Russian forces in the South/East part of Ukraine.  The Azov movement was established in May 2014 during the Donbas crisis to sustain Ukrainian control over Eastern Ukraine. Initially known as the ‘Black Corps,’ it was a paramilitary unit of radical nationalists. Azov never fought directly against Russian troops in 2014, though it is believed Russia tried to secretly help the people of Donetsk who wanted their freedom from the Ukrainian government.

Azov admitted at the formation of their militia that at least 20% of their battalion were open neo-Nazis, with an agenda to make Europe all white. They recruited from white power groups all across Europe, and many joined from the United States.  Where the story takes a more sinister turn is when the Azov Battalion was given a seat in the Ukrainian government; it is reported that the people of Donetsk (majority Russian speaking Ukrainians) were terrorized over the last 8 years. The Azov battalion has been given a free reign in Ukraine to do pretty much whatever they please, this is the group that Putin targeted when he sent his troops into Ukraine on February 24th.

In 2015 the American congress both Democrat and Republican insisted that in no way should the United Sates fund or arm the Azov battalion.

 John Conyers Jr., D-Michigan expressed delight that both democrats and republicans acknowledged that Azov were in fact Neo-Nazis.

“I am grateful that the House of Representatives unanimously passed my amendments last night to ensure that our military does not train members of the repulsive neo-Nazi Azov Battalion, along with my measures to keep the dangerous and easily trafficked MANPADs out of these unstable regions,” said Conyers. 

How things have changed in just a few short years, our Western media now supports Azov and the America government fund them.

Western media reported that Putin was looking to first take the capital city Kyiv in February, but Putin had other plans, he secured Donetsk, Kherson, Mariupol and many other cities in the South/East. He broke the Azov stronghold over this region.

What charges await the Azov battalion members now at the mercy of Russia?  Again, we have to look to Russia’s own words which are largely ignored by the Western media.

The TASS news agency said the Russian Investigative Committee planned to question the soldiers, many of them members of the Azov Battalion, as part of an investigation into what Moscow calls "Ukrainian regime crimes".

When Russia speaks of Ukrainian war crimes, they are throwing the net very wide, and that is an ominous message to the Azov members. The Azov battalion is linked to some of the worst crimes imaginable, to sum it up they are a breeding ground for really bad people looking to join other really bad people.

A Ukrainian doctor admitted he ordered Russian soldiers castrated when they were injured and in the Ukrainian’s capture. The far-right militia in Ukraine celebrated the news.

Expect the harshest criminal penalties to be delivered to the captured Azov battalion, Putin is not going to show any mercy. Azov recruits from Sweden, Germany, Poland. and all across Europe, but many Americans have joined as well.

A 24-year-old American wanted for murder in Florida, fled to Ukraine thinking he would be safe with the Azov militia, he expressed an interest in joining them.
According to charging documents, the 24-year-old who had been stationed at a nearby army base, discussed on Facebook in 2016 and later dates that he was interested in traveling to Ukraine to fight with the Azov Battalion, this was not an isolated case. The FBI has discovered an alarming pattern, white power groups and individual members were flocking to Ukraine to join the battalion. Azov (with the backing of the Kyiv government) flaunt their bad boy image, they even mocked fakebook’s ban on their advertising. They recruited Nazi members on Facebook, despite being banned.

Please notice that as late as the end of 2020, American media commonly referred to Azov as Neo-Nazis, that changed in February when our America media changed to Pro Ukrainian state media.

There are reportedly many hate crimes committed by Azov where no one was ever arrested or held accountable. An international investigation commenced after mass graves were discovered of Russian speaking people in Donetsk area of Ukraine in 2017.

Chief medical examiner Konstantin Gerasimenko spoke about some of his finding  “Four victims — they are all male — have multiple gunshot wounds to head and body. Their hands were taped behind their backs. Some of them were only in their underwear.”

One of the victims was Nikita Kolomiytsev, a 21-year-old local resident. His mother said “The Ukrainian army took him away. … My husband went there and told them, ‘Take me instead of my son.’ But they said they had taken him for a further prisoner swap.” He was tortured, tied and then the end.

The Azov have become legendary bandits in Ukraine, open white nationalists who know Kyiv will never hold them accountable for their actions. It is with this backdrop that we return to the surrender of close to 3,000 Azov nationalist yesterday, Vladimir Putin made it clear what his objective was at the outset of the conflict, he said he was going to “demilitarize and de-nazify Ukraine”, and clearly it is being done 100%. Notice that Putin as ordered the surrendered Azov battalion members to Donetsk, this is where Russia will conduct the criminal trials. The Azovs are being brought back to the scene of their crimes against the Russian speaking population over the last 8 years.

Another bit of information that Russia revealed is that under Russian law the Azov battalion will be labeled a terrorist group. This will bring a host of other charges, as well as an outlawing of the battalion in Ukrainian cities under Russian controlled.  

The office of Russia's Prosecutor General has asked the Supreme Court to recognize Ukraine's Azov Regiment as a "terrorist organization", Interfax news agency reported on Tuesday citing the Ministry of Justice website. Russia's Supreme Court is scheduled to hear the case on May 26, Interfax reports.

Nazi trials?

There will in fact be Nazi trials, this is not an exaggeration, it is fact.

Vyacheslav Volodin, speaker of the Russian Parliament, said: “They are war criminals, (Azov Battalion) and we must do everything to bring them to justice. “The Russian MP Leonid Slutsky called for the surrendered troops to be executed!

Slutsky said: "They do not deserve to live after the monstrous crimes against humanity that they have committed and that are committed continuously against our prisoners."

The fact that all the Azov nationalists were transferred to Donetsk is proof that the trials are going to be a Nuremberg styled event. President Putin said one of the reasons for Russians entering Ukraine was to remove the Nazis, this alone is proof he is going to put the Azov Battalion on trial for hate crimes. All captured Ukrainians are examined for right wing extremist markings, so far over 30% of captured Azov members have confirmed Nazi tattoos, this will be “exhibit A” in the Russia courtroom trials.

Please notice how Ukrainian President Zelensky never mentions the Azov battalion, he knows they are an integral party of the Ukrainian government, the Azov militia has no fear of him whatsoever. Russia has already won the war; the American people will be last to know; the only question remains is how much of Ukraine the Russians will take.

The Azov battalion will be charged as Neo-Nazis and face the most severe Russian penalties. For the good of humanity and safety in the region, all the world should hope that Putin claims all of Ukraine. The Soviet Union ruled Ukraine for 70 years, there was a better balance of power and more peace in the region. For peace in Eastern Europe and the world lets hope Russia retakes Ukraine completely and restores a sane balance of power in the region.
