Russia says No War Crimes in Bucha Ukraine by Russian Soldiers
Russia has called accusations of war crimes by the Russian military in Bucha, Ukraine preposterous. Yesterday the Russian Government led by Foreign Minister of Russia Sergio Lavrov slammed the Ukrainian government and Western Europe for spreading false claims of Russia being involved in atrocities in Bucha. Russia believes this is a last-ditch effort by Ukrainian President Zelensky who is clearly losing the war. Yesterday, The Russians presented video of the mayor of Bucha smiling and joyful days after the tragedies reportedly occurred, he made no mention of any war crimes.
American and NATO set up?
With worldwide condemnation over the alarming images coming out of Bucha, the Russian government has wasted no time in knocking down any allegations of abuses by their military in Ukraine. Russia has demanded a meeting with the United Nations security counsel where they would be able to present documentation showing that they took part in no war crimes in Bucha, Ukraine.
Foreign Minister of Russia Sergio Lavrov spoke yesterday about the horrific images coming out of the Ukrainian city of Bucha and he was highly insulted that Russian troops were being blamed for the apparent tragedy that occurred in the city. Lavrov made it clear that this is all American led theater to help a losing Ukrainian military.
Lavrov statement:
“Recent Fake attacks have been reported from Bucha Oblast after the withdrawal of the Russian troops. Our troops had withdrawn as per the agreements reached in our previous discussions. Provocative and fake reports are being circulated by Ukrainian officials and their Western mentors,” Russian FM stated.
Presenting his stand, he claimed, “The Russian military withdrew from the city (Bucha) on March 30, and on the March 31 the Mayor of the city made a solemn statement that everything was okay, and two days later, they were staging the massacre on the streets of Bucha, that is being used for anti-Russian purposes.”
Russia presented a video which shows the mayor of Bucha smiling and joyful that Russian troops had left his city, the mayor makes no mention of civilian causalities, war crimes or any atrocities by Russian soldiers. Days later the claims of warfare abuse appeared, long after Russian troops had left the city.

Complicating matters is the fact that Human Rights Watch (a non-government watchdog group) found that the Ukrainian government did in fact cause civilian casualties in Ukraine during a battle with Pro Russian insurgent forces 8 years ago.
In 2014 Ukrainian forces were in a battle with pro-Russian insurgents, many civilians were killed in the conflict. Human Rights Watch found that the Ukrainian government had massacred many of their own civilians. Ukraine tried to blame the massacre on Russian backed forces. Is this a repeat in Bucha?
War crimes or propaganda?
A war crime is a violation of the laws of war that gives rise to individual criminal responsibility for actions by the combatants, such as intentionally killing civilians or intentionally killing prisoners of war, torture, taking hostages, unnecessarily destroying civilian property, deception by perfidy, wartime sexual violence, pillaging, the conscription of children in the military, committing genocide or ethnic cleansing, the granting of no quarter despite surrender, and flouting legal distinctions of proportionality and military necessity
The cry of war crimes is not new, the British were found to have committed horrific acts that violated international law during the war in Iraq, the United States has been accused of heinous war crimes in the middle east.
The Mahmudiyah rape and killings were war crimes involving the gang-rape and murder of 14-year-old Iraqi child Abeer Qassim Hamza al-Janabi and the murder of her family by United States Army soldiers on March 12, 2006. It occurred in the family's house to the southwest of Yusufiyah, a village to the west of the town of Al-Mahmudiyah, Iraq. Other members of al-Janabi's family murdered by Americans included her 34-year-old mother Fakhriyah Taha Muhasen, 45-year-old father. Most American know little of this incident because the American media buried the abuses by American soldiers. War is devastating and unfortunately innocent civilians get caught in the middle of the battle. The American war crimes were not an accident, it was deliberate sexual assault on a child and murder.
Did Russia commit war crimes in Bucha, no one can say for sure, American media cannot be trusted (nor Russian media), only the victims know the truth.
