American sniper loses life in Mariupol Ukraine at hands of Russia

An American sniper has lost his life in Mariupol, Ukraine at the hands of the Russian military, it did not have to be this way.  The President of Russia Vladimir Putin issued a statement last week stating that many western nations were currently engaged in combat in Ukraine, he claimed they were making the situation on the ground worse.  He made it clear that his “special military operation” was going smooth but that America and NATO nations were encouraging more war to an already defeated Ukrainian military. A video of a Russian soldier holding the passport of an American sniper after suffering a fatal wound has surfaced, they then reportedly gave him a burial out of respect to his family.

At the start of the war, Putin issued a stark warning to the West, he bluntly told them to stay out of the conflict. The warning was not taken likely, America and NATO officially agreed that they would not get involved in the conflict but did find a way to support Ukraine without direct involvement, Joe Biden (and NATO nations) supplied money and weapons to President of Ukraine Zelensky. On a visit to Poland Joe Biden slipped up on camera and told American troops stationed at the Polish border that they would indeed be going into Ukraine, and that they would see the devastation that the Russians inflicted. The White House quickly backtracked on Biden’s statements and claimed no Americans would be involved in the conflict in Ukraine. Yesterday, a video of an American soldier who lost his life in battle surfaced, supposedly the American was one of the last remaining snipers, shooting at Russians from a building in Mariupol.

From the very beginning Russia asked the Ukrainians to lay down arm and negotiate, by Zelensky found this unacceptable. Zelensky stated that if Russia put one foot in Ukraine there would be a fierce battle, and that is what has ensued. Zelensky said if Russians came into Ukraine “They will see our faces not our backs”, it made for good American television, but innocent Ukrainian civilians lost their life.  The United States continues to fund a bloodbath that the Ukrainians cannot win, it is a pattern we have developed all over the world for decades. We drop money and weapons in foreign lands, we sit back, and we watch the show.    Putin’s pleaded for a Ukraine surrender no less than 10 times and each time the Ukrainian people said yes, Zelensky said no. The Ukrainians spoke with their feet, 4. 5 million of them fled the country, they wanted no part of the Russian army.

Americans going to Ukraine to fight Russians are only making things worse, Ukraine does not have the military capability or leadership to combat Putin’s Russian Machine, why risk civilian lives by continuing to fight a losing battle?  Joe Biden gifted Zelensky a near billion-dollar last week for more fighting, it was a ridiculous move that only prolongs the inevitable. Each time America dumps money and weapons into the conflict more civilians lose their life. For the sake of civilians, it is time to hand Putin the keys to the Ukrainian capital Kyiv and start peace negotiations.
