5000 dead in Mariupol Ukraine due to Zelensky’s Ego not Russia

Mariupol Ukraine is destroyed there is nothing left, yet Ukraine’s President Zelensky will not stop the carnage from Putin’s Russia, he still refuses to lay down arms. Vladimir Putin for the third time has asked the Ukrainians to please surrender the city which is now 90% controlled by Russia, the buildings are bombed to the ground, smoke is rising everywhere, yet Zelensky will not wave the white flag. 100,000 citizens are trapped and have no way of escaping, yet Zelensky’s ego stands in the way of admitted defeat in Mariupol, the loss of life at this point can only be blamed on the Ukrainian President.

Putin begs Ukraine and Zelensky to stop fighting

Few American media outlets will report about it but once again Vladimir Putin asked the Ukrainians to lay down arms so lives can be saved. The Russians control Mariupol, the mayor of the city confirmed this 72 hours ago, he sadly reported to the world that Ukrainians are no longer in control of the city.

 “Not everything is in our power,” said Mayor Vadym Boichenko, in a live television interview. “Unfortunately, we are in the hands of the occupiers (Russians) today.” When the mayor admits that Russians are in control of the city and the Russian flag sits on top of the Administration building, it is time to stop fighting.

A humanitarian crisis is growing as 100,000 remaining citizens are still trapped in the city, they cannot leave as there are no safety corridors, what is causing this evacuation problem in Mariupol? Zelensky is still not ready to accept defeat in the city, the few remaining Ukrainian soldiers (and other groups) in the city are firing at Russians from bombed out buildings.  Zelensky’s ego will not allow him to admit the obvious fact that Mariupol is in the hands of the Russians. Vladimir Putin spoke with French President Emmanuel Macron and Russian officials said Putin told the French leader that "in order to resolve the difficult humanitarian situation in this city, Ukrainian nationalist militants must stop resisting and lay down their arms".

The problem is Zelensky who is still performing his Rambo act for the American media and for a congress ready to erect statues of him in Washington. Zelensky has only one message for NATO and the United States, send more billions of dollars and more weapons, does this sound like a person thinking about citizens in Mariupol?

Why doesn’t Zelensky ask the remaining nationalists in bombed out Mariupol buildings to lay down their weapons? The Ukrainian President is costing lives, and for no good reason. Today Russia has announced a ceasefire in Mariupol to allow the 100,000 citizens to quickly get out. The statement from the Russians read:

On Wednesday evening, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced a “regime of silence,” or a local ceasefire, in the besieged Ukrainian port of Mariupol, which will begin at 10:00 a.m. (0700 GMT) on Thursday to allow civilians to flee. This measure should allow for the opening of a humanitarian corridor between Zaporozhye, Ukraine, and the Russian-controlled port of Berdiansk.

With the world watching the evacuation should go smooth (hopefully), Russia controls the city, they have no need to harm civilians, and they claim they never have. The Russians claim that far-right Ukrainian nationalists have taken over Ukrainian citizen’s homes (in addition to administrative buildings) and are attacking Russia’s military from these sites. Zelensky could easily ask all Ukrainian nationalists in Mariupol to lay down arms and accept the obvious fact that the city is under Russian control which was confirmed by the mayor.  

The White House announced $500 million dollars of American taxpayer money will go to Ukraine. Biden’s son is also under investigation for getting millions from the Ukrainians.

Zelensky’s latest statement on Mariupol is not about laying down arms, it is about crimes against humanity by Putin and Russia. Yesterday the Ukrainian President spoke about Russian actions in Mariupol and claimed Putin’s assault has resulted in crimes against humanity. The real crime was that Zelensky did not prepare the city for attack, he also did not allow men who wanted to leave the city to flee, Zelensky forcing them to fight the vastly superior Russian machine.

Zelensky is a failed leader, a Rambo character propped up my American media and social media. Zelensky actually believes he is a war hero and that is costing innocent lives in Mariupol.
